Phaselis is the ancient Lycian city, archaeological site and museum located in Tekirova, about 12 km. from Kemer. A visit to the famous ancient city of Phaselis and enjoy the beach, nature and history is a great attraction for the holidaymakers in Kemer, Antalya.


Phaselis archaeological site dates back to 7th century B.C. and according to the historians the main Goddess of the city was Athena, Goddess of war and wisdom. It is believed that the ancient city of Phaselis was founded by colonists from Rhodes. Phaselis has three ports, on the north, the northeast and on the southwest coast of the peninsula.
